Despues sigui pa 1 november 1994 pa brigadier eerste klasse. 1 november 1998 su carera policial a sigui den rumbo positivo y a wordo promociona cu Hoofdagent. Tabata ariba 1 december 2002 ela bira hoofdagent eerste klasse. For di aki tambe Sr. Kelly su trayectoria a sigui den biento y popa y su deseo di por a sigui crece den e cuerpo a continua. 1 januari 2011 su responsabilidad a bira mas grandi y a wordo promociona pa onderinspecteur. Pa 1 januari 2016 ela bira onderinspecteur eerste klasse t’e cu dia di awe Sr. Kelly ta baha cu pensioen despues di 41 aña cu su ultimo rango di onderinspecteur eerste klasse.
Durante 41 aña ela forma parti pero tambe experiencia diferente departamentonan di Cuerpo Policial Aruba y Antiyas Hulandes manera: Sectie Justitiële Politie Oranjestad (SJPO), Paros Team (RST), Coördinator SGC – UGC y por ultimo Coördinator Infodesk.
Un trayectoria largo y bunita den un di e departamentonan di mas importante di polis. Sr. Kelly ta laga bunita recuerdonan atras pero pa KPA nos ta perde un persona cu amplio conocimento y un di e pilar nan importante cu hopi conocimento. Sr. Kelly ta un di e personanan cu conoce KPA prome cu Status Aparte y despues di Status Aparte. Un persona cu a mira KPA den su miho y mal momento pero sigur a pone un granito pa asina e organisacion por sigui hisa di nivel.
Di parti staf y persona di Cuerpo Policial Aruba nos kier a yama danki na Sr. Kelly pa su 41 aña di sirbi nos comunidad. Danki na su famia y yuinan pa sostene Sr. Kelly durante su trayectoria policial pero tambe sostene cu locual e semper a gusta! MACUARIMA, ARUBA: In a pleasant ceremony at the Justice Center in Santa Cruz, we bid farewell to “onder inspecteur eerste klasse” Mr. Jacinto (Chin) Kelly, who retired with well-deserved appreciation after serving the country of Aruba for 41 years. In the presence of Chief Commissioner of The Aruba Police Force, Mr. Ramon Arnhem, Commissioners Ms. Irma Gordon and Mr. Robert Candelaria, as well as the staff and personnel of Infodesk, Mr. Kelly was bid farewell.
Mr. Kelly entered the police service on November 16, 1982, during the time of the Netherlands Antilles Police Corps. From that moment on, he began his remarkable police career, dedicating his time and effort to serving Aruba. His journey continued, and on November 1, 1987, he achieved the rank of “agent eerste klasse”.
On January 1, 1994, he was promoted to “brigadier” followed by “brigadier eerste klasse”on November 1, 1994. On November 1, 1998, his police career continued on a positive trajectory, and he was promoted to “Hoofdagent”. On December 1, 2002, he became a “hoofdagent eerste klasse”. From here, Mr. Kelly’s career sailed smoothly, and his desire to continue growing within the organization persisted. On January 1, 2011, his responsibilities increased significantly, and he was promoted to “onderinspecteur”. On January 1, 2016, he achieved the rank of “onder inspecteur eerste klasse”. Today, Mr. Kelly is retiring after 41 years with his final rank as “onder inspecteur eerste klasse.
During his 41 years, he has been a part of various departments within the Aruba and Dutch Caribbean Police Force, including the Judicial Police Section Oranjestad (SJPO), the Arrest Team (RST), the Coordinator SGC – UGC, and finally, the Infodesk Coordinator.
A long and remarkable journey within one of the most important departments of the police force. Mr. Kelly leaves behind beautiful memories, but for the KPA, we are losing someone with extensive knowledge and one of the important pillars with abundant experience. Mr. Kelly is one of the individuals who witnessed the KPA before and after the Status Aparte. He is someone who has seen the KPA in its best and worst moments but has undoubtedly contributed significantly to raising the organization’s standards.
On behalf of the staff and personnel of the Aruba Police Force, we would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Kelly for his 41 years of service to our community. We thank his family and loved ones for supporting Mr. Kelly throughout his police career and for their unwavering support. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement, Mr. Kelly. Thank you for serving Aruba and for being a part of the Aruba Police Force.
