MACUARIMA, ARUBA: The Aruba Police Force is starting a training program for Police Sub-Inspectors. A large group of more than 50 police officers will be part of this program, which has a duration of approximately 1 year and 6 months and will be held at the E.J. Watty Vos Police School.

This group will continue to develop, grow in rank, and also receive more responsibilities. For Police Chief Commissioner Drs. Ramon ARNHEM, this means that the main goal is to invest in people, invest in our police officers because “people are central”.

“I am very happy because you have to deal with your future, your police career. With your dedication, determination, and effort, you can raise the quality for the future of the Aruba Police Force,” said Police Chief Commissioner Drs. Ramon ARNHEM.

Many police officers will retire, and this new generation will fill the vacant positions. This training program is of utmost importance so that every colleague can continue to develop themselves and expand their knowledge.

As a police leadership, they will continue to invest in every officer so that they can continue to develop and raise the quality. The Aruba Police Force is in re-organization, with new development and strategies, but all for the health and well-being of every police officer.

“We hope to create new leaders who can lead our organization and also guide and stimulate young police officers. The job has its risks, and every police officer puts their life in danger. But when they return and guard the environment, it can be calm and healthy so that they can continue to provide their service. The police leadership counts on every police officer and wishes them good luck and success with the training,” said the Police Chief Commissioner.
