MACUARIMA, ARUBA: Recently, the Chief Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ramon Arnhem, together with the Chief Commissioner of Sint Maarten and a delegation from Curaçao, visited the Police Academy located in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

This was a two-day conference aimed at enhancing international and inter-regional collaboration in police training. They gathered and explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation among the partners within the kingdom.

The conference also focused on contributing to the training and development of the police forces within the kingdom, as well as providing information and innovation in teaching methods.

For Aruba, this collaboration is essential to make our police organization even stronger by investing in our personnel. Five different topics were discussed for Aruba, including Major Event Management, Leadership Development, Incident Management, Neighborhood Policing, and Intelligence.

Additionally, two important points were emphasized: Community Policing and Intelligence-Based Policing for the Aruba Police Force (KPA). KPA is undergoing significant development to bring about positive change for Aruba, allowing the organization to continue growing and remain at the forefront of national security for the country.
